{Test Day...}

Ryan took his big State Certification test today! We won't know for several days the results, grrrr. The test is a self-adjusting test that changes the testing level to measure the skill level of each individual student.

The least amount of questions is 70, the most is 120. So, in other words, if you are a student who has 70 questions on your quiz you either passed with flying colors or failed miserably.

He doesn't feel like he did great, but his instructor told the class that the people who pass usually feel like they did poorly.

{A Bragging Moment...}

Ry finished his EMT class on Saturday.

He was in finals all day long! 8 hours of finals!
He scored a 95% on his written exam, highest in his class, and he passed all his clinicals, which is the most difficult part.

Now he takes his state exam, and will be a full-fledged licensed EMT!

I hate being one of those complaining pregnant ladies because I really do enjoy pregnancy however...

I'm Just Sayin....

that being said....I really am trying to, each day, find the time to enjoy all the cute little movements this little one makes! (it's hard to notice when you've got two older ones outside you...) But I know this will be it for a while, so I'm trying to savor every last little thing. Even the unpleasant things like contractions.

I feel very blessed to be carrying this child. God doesn't make accidents, I just sometimes don't see the big picture.

I love my bonding time I share between the baby and I at night, when all is quite, and this one kicks at me...I'll poke back, and it will kick again and I will giggle. 3rd kid, and it still gets me....

{Darn You Santa!}

Tonight, Alenna misplaced one of her toys. As I was helping her search for it, she says:

***"OH NO! DADDY TOOK MY TOY! HE TOOK IT FROM ME!!!!"***

I laughed and assured her daddy has much better things to be doing than running around and taking her toys...besides the fact he was at school.

I guess we're getting off on the wrong foot with the fat man...

{Three Many Loo-Loos...}

The Mission: (Should Brady choose to except it...)

weaning to a sippy cup!

We decided that we had better wean Brady now, when this baby comes in 3 months and Brady sees that the new baby is using "his" bottles, Brady will never want to wean.

At first he was pretty confused, than when he realized mommy put just a squirt of chocolate in with his milk, he drank the whole thing!
YEAH! One last hurdle to worry about.

Brady is a little young for sippy cups, but we think its gross when 2 year olds are walking around with bottles, and Brady and our baby are going to be so close, we needed to make the change fast.

Today, Alenna called her fork a "Dinglehopper" she got that from The Little Mermaid.

Alenna was finished eating and I say, "My belly hurts, I ate too much!" and she says, "You ate too many loo-loos (noodles)?" And I say, "Yup." Than she pauses and says, "I didn't eat two many loo loos...I ate three many loo loos!" holding up three skinny fingers.

But gotta love how she had to out-due me, eating three many noodles, instead of two many...

{Everybody Loves An Alenna-Bean...}

When I picked Alenna up from nursery on Sunday, she was very quiet. Not like herself. As soon as we were out of her teacher's ear shot, she starts going on about... "Mommy! Max got in trouble!!! He went to TIME OUT!" She was very upset, so upset I thought she might cry.

****I asked her "why?" and she said, "he kept turning the lights out!" *****

She still wasn't calming down, she was almost shaken. So I asked her, thinking maybe she had gotten in trouble with Max, "Did you turn the lights off too? Or go to time out like Max?"

****And she stops, is quite for a minute, starts laughing hysterically, and says," No Mommy you silly goose! Max went to time out and Alenna laughed at HIM!!!! HAHAHA!!!!..."

This baby has been sitting on my sciatic nerve, for those who haven't seen me, this baby is all out front, just like I swallowed a basketball. And because this is my 3rd, opposed to my 1st, I have other children to haul around all day long. So, naturally, my back is constantly in pain, sometimes so bad I can't even move. So, I will say, not to anyone really, "My back really hurts!" And Alenna, looking sympathetic, says, "your back hurts?" Me:"Yes Alenna, very much.."

Alenna: "Oh....well my back is little, pretty and perfect!" Thanks for the sympathy, Alenna.

We were in Sacrament meeting, and I took her out to go potty and when we walk back in, she starts crying, and she screams..."NOT THIS AGAIN!!!!" Everyone looked over and laughed. She didn't say anything we all weren't thinking ourselves.

{Letters From Home...}

My parents are really good about sending out regular packages to Dusty.

Brady cracks up laughing when he sees pictures of himself, like he knows how silly he is or something. Really, its funny, but I think very adorable too!
