{Trunk R Treat!...}

Tonight was the ward's Trunk R Treat. Alenna had a blast, Brady was not so thrilled...
"I don't want to get pictures taken!"
Brady was half asleep all night. Poor little dude....
There were all kinds of rides, and Alenna had a blast! She's at the perfect age for all this.
This is her upfront, she stole daddy's jacket, believe it or not, tonight was cold!
She looks freaked, but honestly, she loved it!
Ok, ignore the chocolate on her face....but this is where they had a tractor pulling these little horses all around the parking lot. She was thrilled!
Alenna coming....
Alenna leaving...
This is the part I'm sprinting across the parking lot, Brady in tout, trying to capture this moment. (I'm sure I was quite a sight, being 9 months pregnant and all...)
"Stop taking pictures and lets get candy already!!!!"
Of course, daddy was our first stop.
This was her favorite of the night, a glowing wand.
Poor buddy, literally just along for the ride!
They also had cotton candy machines going. Alenna was so fascinated.
"WoW! Clouds!"
Ah, the fruits of tonight...
She was awesome.

{Wow}

Do I ever need to remember this!

{The Last First Date...}

This is late, but I wanted to recognize that 5 years ago Friday marked our 1st date!
{We're not one of those dumb couples that celebrate every little stupid thing},
but it was our last first date, whoo hoo! The search was over, hook, line and sinker!
I love you Ry!
Now, 5 years later...2 houses, 3 kids and stress!
But at least its with the best person in the world I could have chosen.
Even on our worst day, its not bad.
Here's to another 5 (and many many more!)

{Getting Ready...}

As many of you know, every time I have a baby my mom makes that child a quilt. This is the one she made for our newest!
{Really, the pictures don't even do it justice...}

{SO CUTE!}
She's so talented, its all hand cut and everything. All for our baby Shaely (as Alenna has named her...Ryan and I are still debating on names...)
So far we like Shaelyn McKell, we'll see what she comes out looking like!
This is the back.
I can't wait to use it!

{This is her Going Home outfit...}
So things are moving right along here at the Bergen house! I am 36 weeks by Dr's calculations, though we think I am actually closer to 38. Last night, I had about 3 hours of really strong contractions and Ryan and I were about to leave to the hospital when they stopped! I have been showing other signs of labor, which I won't go into, but things are happening, which is exciting.
Its just the waiting game now!

In other news, Ryan starts his volunteering at Banner Desert on Mon. We joke that he can work his shift while I'm up in maternity laboring, wouldn't that be funny timing??!
At any rate, we are excited about his program starting. In this market of 10% unemployment, we think this will be his strongest foot in the door...ps we should be hearing from his nursing school any day as to if they accepted him or not!

Stay tuned for fast times at the Bergens'!

{Brady Speaks...}

{This post is about, who else? Brady!}
My little dude...
{Hard at work}
{they love each other!}

Not very much at this point, but here is what he has said or is saying...

{Mama or Dada}
{A-la-la (Alenna)}
{Bye-Bye (accompanied by a chubby wave)}
The other night he pushed Alenna's bedroom door open and crawled all the way to her bed. Once there, he stood against the bed screaming for her to wake up and pay attention to him!
Once caught by mommy, he exited her room by saying, "bye bye A-la-la.."
{First conversation!}

-He will sign "more" when he wants more food or drink-

We have a drinking fountain in this house, Ryan has built a stool for Alenna to stand on and get a drink from so we aren't having to constantly be filling and refilling her cups all day. Well, once Brady discovered that water comes from the drinking fountain, he was all over that one! He will actually crawl up the stool, and stand against the fountain, sucking water from the spout!

Our "little" dude is our future line-backer! And if you've ever eaten a meal with him, you know why I say that!
Braids is 13 1/2 months! Wow!

{Could Eat You Up, I Love You So...}

{Alenna, hearing Brady crying in his room: "Oh NO! Chunky! He sounds in trouble! I need to save him!"}
*************************
{Alenna talking to me, "Go make Chunky a bottle..." Me: "YOU go make him a bottle..." Alenna: "No I'm just a little Nanny-girl and I'm too little..."}
********************
{After showers and before jammies...Me: "Alenna, go potty so you keep your sheets dry tonight.."
Alenna: "Hmm, No..." Me: "Alenna, do it now." Alenna: "Oh silly mommy! I already peed in your shower!" Me: "Lovely...."}
********************
{I was doing her hair so she could go on her play date with MeMa and she was being diffcult, so I pulled her arm towards me and she says, "HEY! Mommies don't hurt people!"}
********************
{Alenna: "Mommy, you're my best friend..." ...."Daddy, you're my best friend..." ..."Chunky, you're my best friend..."}
*******************
{Alenna, playing with Brady: "Braids, you're round and yummy."}

{The Latest...}

{I realize I'm behind in posting recent pictures of the babies, so here are just a few.}
This is a day we went to the park, now that its nice outside, taking them to the park is actually enjoyable!
Actually this day was my birthday, and Ryan and I were leaving to go out that night, so we packed up the lil' ones and headed to the park in hopes of tiring them out for grandma!
Other than the blonde, I have identical almost-3years-old-looking pictures of myself to this.
{So funny..I'm hoping our baby looks like Alenna!}
Yeah, he was SO NOT digging the park. He hated it actually, until we gave him a Capri Sun and he drank the whole thing (straight out of the pouch) perfectly!
{Not one spilled drop!}
For a 13 month old, that's pretty impressive. Heck, I'm 23 and am constantly staining my shirts from spilled drinks!
Brady is our child that will sleep anywhere (seriously, how lucky can ya get??). He was playing in our bed with ryan, and just decided he was too tired and crashed in daddy's arms! {Ryan got up, and Brady slept there for like 3 hours!}
I thought he looked so dang cute! Many times I wanted to move him to his crib, fearing he might fall off our really high bed and get hurt. But he looked so peaceful, I let him sleep. Than, I went to check on him and he was sitting up laughing and smiling.
{Ah, I just love him.}
Brady is ALL daddy's boy! Which is funny, he used to HATE going to Ryan, he couldn't stand Ryan. Poor guy, I felt really bad for Ryan, he finally gets a son he's always wanted and Brady would just scream and scream in his arms...
{Now, Brady LOVES him. Anywhere daddy goes, Brady MUST go too!}
(Which works out nice for me too, being 35 weeks pregnant and all...)
{My boys. Ah, they have my heart...}
{I realize my child has dinner left overs on his nose. But this kid CRACKS me up!}
He could be in fits and the minute he hears the BING of my camera turning on, he immediately is smiley!
And of course, my beautiful Leny girl. Her hair is getting so long, when wet its to her shoulders! Which is huge for us, we don't make babies with hair I guess.
{Hard to believe in 5-6 weeks, we'll have another baby. I am always amazed how much a new baby grows your heart....there's always room for one more!}

{A HOT Find!}

I got several of these "Mini-Molly's" for my birthday and they are amazing! Wear under any shirt to make it modest!
(Especially great for any and all, who like me, suffer from "chronic cleavage.")
You can find them here: http://www.mollysclothing.com

{Alenna-isms}

Shaking her skinny little finger..."You NEVER EVER EVER DO IT AGAIN!!!" when she's upset with something Ryan, myself, or Brady has done.
"I don't nap when its a sunny day outside, silly mommy...oh wait, yes I can!"
"Chunky is my husband, mommy."
"I am a princess"

She'll spot my belly, walk clear across the room, hug my belly and say, "Oh hi new baby! I'm excited to see you!"
