{Meet The Twins!}

You would never believe looking at these two that they were born the same day!!

This is Shaylin with Sylvia, one of my parent's foster twins. She's been in the NICU since birth, my Mom has had her since Thur. Then she went back to the ICU on Friday, but is home now and doing well.

The twins were born at 27 weeks and are Meth babies.

She's the one my superhero mom did CPR on and got her to start breathing again.

This is Shaylin with Kasey, Sylvia's twin brother.

Kasey is doing very well.

My "baby" doesn't even look like a baby in comparison!

She's only 2 months old! What happened?? jk...sort of.

{Today's The Day!}

We've been waiting for...hmmm...for like a year and a half!

Ryan's first day of nursing school!

Here he is in his cute scrubs, thats his school uniform.

I told him "today is the first day of the rest of his life"...and he smiled.

Its going to be a good life. :)

{A Sad Day For Me...}

Saturday, Ryan was on his way to one of our rental properties and he was in a pretty bad accident.

He was turning left onto the 60 and was hit by a north-headed car...no one was sited.

I feel grateful that, other than being a little sore, he is fine (so was the other person)...

But I am sad because this was my 1st car. We bought this 6 months after we were married.

I picked it out, I did the research, I haggled with the seller, I registered it, I bought it....

my first real purchase as an adult. And its now wrecked....

This car has been good to us. Lasted 4 years and brought home two babies...

We almost all went with Ryan, I'm grateful we didn't; he was in the safest part of the car.

The car will not be saved, unfortunately. Its fate is still undetermined...

{Let's Talk Hair!}

On Saturday night I broke down and buzzed Brady's hair. I hate shaggy hair!

Here is the before

...if you look closely you can see Ryan bandaged up, this was right after the accident

The after...

...I knew there was a handsome boy under those shags! 

This was Brady's first haircut! (#3 blended to a #5)

And of course, Princess insisted she needed a haircut too!

I didn't realize how long her's was, but it really was long, past her shoulders, curly hair is a bit deceiving...

Can't tell because of the curls, but its an A-line with stacked backing.

Now if I could just get someone to cut mine...and maybe add some highlights...

{A Sunday To Remember...}

 

Today our beautiful daughter, Shaylin McKell was blessed at church by her father.

What a special experience it was, to bless our angel.

Afterward, Ryan and I both bore our testimonies, something we never do.

Our friends, the Bradshaws also blessed their baby, Bryton, who is 3 days older than Shaylin.

Today was also special because Alenna went into Primary! Yeah for Sunbeams! 

Her teachers said she just sat, arms folded, all meeting! What a great start!

Sleep tight, my beautiful angel....the world can wait, today you are mine.

That night we had everyone over for a big dinner! It sure was tasty!
