Brady Scott Bergen- 9-04-2008
8lbs, 4 ounces 21 inches long

He's here! I went into labor Wed. night, which was my due date. We arrived at the hospital around 11pm and they broke my water around midnight. I labored until 6:24am and he was born! I was able to have a successful VBAC, so all that stress was for nothing! Giving birth was the most amazing expeirence, after I got my epidural of course! Like I said, they broke my water and made me labor for about 2 hours before giving me my epidural cause they were afraid it would stop my contractions. So for 2 hell-like hours I labored and FINALLY recieved a 'walking epidural' which isn't as strong as the real thing but really took the edge off. Than when I was 9cm they gave me the real epidural. I pushed for about 45 minutes, though it felt like 20. I tore pretty badly, and am very sore. He's so sweet, we were at the hospital for 48 hours and we are home tonight. Alenna loves her baby brother, she is constantly wanting to hold him and kiss him.

My mom was able to be there while I gave birth. Both she and Ryan were totally disgusted, and had a hard time stomache-ing everything involved. When he was born, my mom was literally cracking up laughing, "He is IDENTICAL to Alenna!" I was glad she was able to be there. My mother-in-law was able to be there as well, she walked in literally 10 minutes before Brady was born. Talk about great timing!

We were on the way to the hosptial when Ryan looks over at me and says, "well, want to talk about names?" Between contractions we decided that I liked Brody and he liked Brady. All night Ry called him Brady and I called him Brody. When he was actaully born though, we decided he was a Brady, not a Brody. And I just liked Scott, so he's Brady Scott. The hosptal I stayed at was AMAZING! It was like being at the spa! Flat screens in every room, cable wire-less internet. A cafe you can order anything! The best staff, every nurse I had was great. I didn't want to leave! I'm having all my babies there!

Here are my guys right after Brady's circumcision. Thats why his diaper is so big, he has a towel in there! What a trooper though, he didn't even cry during the procedure! I just love this little guy!
