A Small Moment For Sillyness

I decided with everything going on in the nation right now, I should take a break and appreciate some sillyness. Little kids are so funny and they don't even realize they are. In my foolish attempts at perfection I fear that I over-look silly little moments that later I will miss. This above picture is at our friends house, Alenna is hugging Snow White, a.k.a. Katie.
Here Alenna is piggin' out on cheetos. Between the bag of candy we ate truck-r-treating and this bag of cheetos, she really had a healthy dinner! Oh well, it's Halloween!

My very own set of wheels! She loved this!! We are at our friends, the Turley's house here. She loves going over there. They have 3 kids under three, so there is always someone or something to play with.

Thats a cakey mixture of chocolate and sand on her face. Ah, to be two!

Ok, so I laughed for like 10 straight minutes at Alenna's expression in this picture I didn't even realize I had captured until just now. I'm laughing even as I type this. This is her friend Sariah. As you can tell, on this particular day Alenna is not ready for the day yet, it's the afternoon. We are putting in our backyard and it was a saterday.

That big head of tight ringlets just cracks me right up. Even when she runs away from me, those little curls bounce in defiance. I decided that I wanted to record something funny Alenna says or does at least once a week. This week: whenever she falls, she instantly jumps up and says "I'M OK!" without me even having the time to ask first.

My sweet little chunk. This porker is 14 lbs now! He's only two months old, believe it or not. Thankfully, my sweet boy is sleeping through the night, which lets just face it, mommy is nicer on a full night's sleep.

He's such a little round guy. I just want to kiss those chunker lil cheeckers! Sorry Brady, I'm posting more pictures of Alenna than you, she is just so much more active!

Silly girl. This is her "cheese!" expression. She makes is when she hears the ring of my camera turning on.
I am so grateful for my sweet little distractions. Everyday is a new adventure and has its ups and downs, but as long as the day ends in kisses and hugs everything is as it should be.

It's hard to believe Alenna is 2. Kids grow up so fast. It seems like just yesterday you were born.
