So, I feel like we have ups and downs in life.
Does anyone else feel like that about their own lives??
Anyways, so after a string of downs, things are looking up.
And, honestly, things even at their worst weren't so bad, we feel very blessed.
Ryan is kicking butt in school. He is 4 weeks into his 7 week BIO201 class and has a 97% grade. He is so smart, he is enjoying what he is studying and really is understanding everything.
We found out the the 3 week CNA (Certified Nursing Assisting) program he applied for he was accepted into. It was full when he applied so we were skeptical, but someone must have dropped cause now Ryan is in! That class starts on March 2nd and will end March 20th. Along with taking his CNA class, his BIO202 class will start and also be 7 weeks long.
After he has his CNA he will hopefully get a job in a hospital. I tease him he will end up working in a retirement home changing diapers. He laughs and knows he will have his fair share of doing some not-so-grand things but he is still excited about this new direction in our lives.
The nursing school he is wanting to get into is set up on a points system and as of now Ryan has about 1/2 of the points he needs to get accepted. He is applying on Feb 19th, though we are pretty sure he won't get in this semester, but might as well apply on the off chance that they might accept him. He will apply in Sept and we are confident he will get in for Jan 2010. Ryan in the meantime is working for his mom which works out great because he can make more in less time which allows for him to do his schooling.
Our lease for our Mesa renters was up in Feb. After informing us they would not be staying, Ryan and I started to advertise that house for rent. Well, after a long story, our renters informed us they will be staying and signed another 2 year lease. So, big sigh of relief there.
We hired a management company to find renters for our Queen Creek home and feel good about the decision to do so. We are pushing back the move a couple weeks for several reasons but should be hopefully out by Mar 1st or so. There's really no rush. We are converting my salon into a 4th bedroom, our manager thinks we can get more money for a 4 bedroom.
The kids are getting so big!!
Brady is 5 months old already, if you can believe that! He is rolling all over the place.
He lights up every time I come in the room. He is such a mama's boy, and honestly,
I am loving it!
He is just such a special little spirit. They just grow too fast so I am enjoying every second of my baby. Brady is scooting alittle. He is so anxious to keep up with Alenna, you can see it in his eyes. He laughs at Alenna and will coo to her.
Alenna is such a great big sister! I really got lucky, she is so wonderful with Brady!
She is saying something new every day and really is becoming a daddy's girl.
She loves her guys! Ok, and her mommy too.
She is very sweet and oh so dramatic! Some days I swear I only want boys because she is so moody. But, moody and not moody I just love her to pieces!
Her newest phrase is, "Good Job, Mommy! You did it!" Which she says over everything! Something even as little as me helping her turn on a light switch. Still makes me smile though. She will also say, "Good Job Alenna, You Did It Lenna!" when she does something that suprised even her.
She loves church and begs us to go. Too bad its only once a week!
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

I love how in the second pic Brady had a Dr. Evil look going on!
Best of luck to Ryan in his classes, and best of luck to you guys getting everything ready to move. If you need any help let us know. And If you want to, we should all take a trip to the zoo when things wind back down for you guys (and Shaun).
