Those 'Ole Winds Of Change...

Aren't her curls perfect?? This is straight out of the bath, I have never touched her hair with a curling iron. If her hair continues to be this curly, we are growing it out to her feet!

Brady makes me laugh. He hates baths. Hates them! He always cries like I have betrayed him when I give him a bath. Silly boy.

Well, still no rest for the weary this week. And actaully, the kids have a cold and I have the flu which always makes things 10 times harder. We have put our house up for rent again, so hopefully soon we will have found someone. We have a couple appointments this week, but if nothing comes from those we are going to hire a managment company to figure everything out. Its worth the $60 bucks a month to me to not have to worry about it.

Ryan finished the tile and it looks great! We need to stain the grout because the old stuff and the new stuff are different colors ( the old stuff is really stained and its really obvious when they are next to each other.)

When we move out, Ryan is going to landscape the backyard. Its going to be a big project seeing as how we are on 1/4 acre. We orginally wanted to build a pool, but with the market crash we cannot afford to do that anymore.

Friday was Ryan's last day at work. It was a bitter-sweet day. Just another reminder of how everything is changing. He is still taking his online class, (which takes him like 12 hours a week to do-we had no idea it was going to be this demanding.)

He will be starting his 3 week CNA class on March 2nd, assuming he gets right in, if not, he will for sure be in by April. He is also considering getting his EMT certification because he thinks it will look good on his resume for when he applies to Nursing School in August (yeah!). And also, if he can't find a job as a CNA he will for sure be able to get one as an EMT. In the mean time he is working for his mom and focusing on school and moving.

I'm proud of him to be able to put all this behind him, cut his losses and move into something that will drastically improve our family's financial future.

It takes a brave person to do that.
(what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!)
This is Ryan's 1961 WILLY'S jeep, or "William" as I call him. Because of the move, we are selling most of our stuff, less to move, and that includes William.

Hopefully, he will be sold tonight. Bye William!!

This was our 1st car when we were married. It has literally sat for 3 years not running. We just sold it on Saterday. Kind of bitter-sweet. Mostly sweet though.

I really enjoy change. I love to shake it up. New scenrios, new adventures, etc. Though I do have to say I am a bit sad to leave my house: I poured my heart and soul into this house making it a home and thats kinda hard to just walk away from. I know this is for the very best, though. Ryan and I decided the other night that we will probably have our houses for a very long time. We decided we need to take all the emotion out of it and look at these things as long term investments. Thats all they are. For the time being though, they just serve as headaches. There will be other houses we buy we will be just as in love with in the future, and it will be even better because Ryan will have a degree. We find there is peace in knowing we are doing the right thing. Heavenly Father is guiding our path.

On to the next step in our journey!

I'm ready to close this book and begin another.

We're starting anew...is there anything more refreshing??
