You've Had A Birthday, Shout Hooray!

Friday was my favorite guy's birthday!

I surprised Ryan with a trip to "Shooter's World" which in an indoor shooting range in down- town Phoenix.

Needless to say, he was in heaven!
Here is a goofy pic of us in our get-up.
Ladies shoot free on Friday so I could rent any gun I wanted.
Ryan brought his AR-15 and we shot that as well.
I have never been to an indoor shooting range, it was really cool!
We've just always gone out to the desert and I'm so not into that.
I think going to a range is the way to do it!

Ryan was so happy, I loved it! I wish I could make him that happy every day!!!
I shot pretty good, all the men around us were surprised.
I even surprised myself!

This gun, by far, was my favorite. Sub-compact 9mm glock.
I want one!
We saw some guns similar to this that were painted pink, I so wanted one even more!
Ryan and I decided we would make a standing date once a month to go shooting.
I'm glad I could make it a good day for him!
We shot for about 2 hours and than went and finished with a frosty (Ry's favorite) and laughed about what some of the men were talking about; mainly about how Obama is gun salesman of the year!
HaHa, still love it!

Afterwards we went to my parents' house. They were watching Alenna & Brady while Ryan and I shot. We ate chicken turnovers, which I need to get the recipe for!
Yummy!

Ryan's mom was also able to make it to dinner which was great. And afterwards we played with the babies and looked at more pictures of Dusty. And than we stuffed ourselves with
ice cream and all the fixins'!

So Ryan is officially 26 now!
Odd to think he is that much older than me...
My parents are hiring a photographer to get new pics of the kids done, and probably new pics of Ryan and I too. That is his birthday present, I think its perfect!
Ryan was thrilled when he found out! He loves pictures.
For Ryan's birthday I bought the kids' matching outfits they will be wearing for their pics. The clothes showed up yesterday, perfectly on time, and Ryan had no idea- he was so surprised! So, we got the kids nakies and dressed them up and laughed about how cute they looked!
I think he enjoyed the sweet little pink tie I bought for Brady the most!
Happy Birthday RyRy!
(I love you!)

I had to comment on this because I just went to the shooting range for the first time a few weeks ago and had so much fun too! I totally want a sparkly pink 9mm! I love the comment about Obama being a gun salesman, HA! How coincidental.

man you are a great wife, I hate shooting and TJ loves it. Needless to say we have never been shooting together. Hope all is well with the moving and Ryan's school!

Looks like you guys had a blast. Maybe I need to do something like that for my hubby! Thank you for the comment on my blog. I would love to move home to be closer to family and friends, but there is just so many pretty parts of the country. ;) Although, Roger and I have talked about it. Love you much. Forever your eternal sis.
