Brady was so upset all day, screaming like he was being tortured. I couldn't find anything wrong with him, it was just something to be endured. I kept him home from church, I refused to wrestle with him all 3 hours. After dealing with a fussy baby I was already trashed and ready to take a break. Little did I know it was just tip of the iceberg...

So, Monday we spend all day in Queen Creek working on our house. Things are everywhere and so so so unfinished. I'm in a total panic seeing as how our renters were moving in our house in 2 days. So, thankfully, my mom took the kids for 1/2 the day and Ry and I worked like mad people. After a long day, we were so ready to crash. We got home around midnight and went to bed.
Around 2am, Alenna comes tearing into our room like a bat out of Hell screaming about scorpions. (We live in an orange orchard so scorpions are a normal thing around here.) I tear her room apart and strip her naked to check for sting marks, nothing of course. So we tuck her in bed, she looks at me with the most scared look on her face and tells me I have scorpions on me!
I flip!
I'm running around screaming, stripping down. Alenna's screaming, Brady is screaming down the hall, I'm screaming and Ry is sitting laughing at us. Of course, there was no sleeping after that one! Ry crashed in Alenna's bed with her, and I slept in our bed. So, about 3 hours of sleep all together...
So, we get up early after a long night and go to our house around 730am. We work, work, work, things seem to be getting more difficult, nothing was working for us. We blew out 2 vacuums, broke several tools and had to do and redo things over and over.
It was the most frustrating day ever!
So, around 3pm I am feeling like I want to crawl up in the fetal position and just cry. And than my friend, Kelli, out of no where came over and asked if we needed help. With tears running down my face I hand her Brady, who hasn't let me put him down all day, and ask if she can just take him so I can work. So, she took both my kids with her to her house to play, I was so grateful, she will probably never know how much that meant to me! So, Jean my mother in law, comes over around 430 with all her cleaning supplies and we clean, clean, clean!!!

Jean was so great, she cleaned most everything by herself! The carpet cleaners came over and brought my carpet back from the dead. I picked my kids up around 730, and Jean brought them home to put them in bed because they, at that point, had had it. Ron my father in law, stayed with the sleeping babies, and Jean headed back out to help us. We stayed up all night and got things ready. Around 3am we head home. And like the idiot I am, I check on my kids when I got home and of course Brady woke up and screamed for an hour. So I paced with him for about 45 min and finally we both fell asleep around 445am...

At this point, everything is done at the house, including the wall and closet, but the garage and the backyard still need work.
Ry gets up like the stud he is and heads there to work again for another 12hr day.
I was trashed by this point. And that's saying it mildly.
So I lay around all day exhausted, keep in mind in the last 3 days I've gotten about 5 hours collective sleep. Not to mention I'm pregnant. And the kids have had it. So we lay around and try to recover. So, that night, I put the kids to bed an hour early and go to bed myself. I wake up about 4 hours later and hear Alenna coughing in her room. I check on her and she's sitting in a pool of vomit.
Great.
I clean her sheets and bathe her.

This is the paint. The drywall was fresh when I ripped off the painter's tape, it took the drywall with it.
Swear word!
I tried it about 8 different times, using different techniques and just made it worse. I have to go and finish it in a couple weeks.
So, Alenna threw up about 5 more times that night and like the idiot I am I kept bathing her over and over. I should've left her in the bath. So, around midnight her tummy calms and she falls asleep with daddy at her side. I just figured it was food poisoning since none of us were sick...

Here's the closet, doesn't it look great?? Ry really did a great job!
So the next morning, I feel something burning hot next to me in my bed. I open my eyes and see that Alenna had crawled into bed with me sometime in the night, and she's burning up.
Crap, she's got the flu, which means we all can get it too, unlike food poisoning.
So, we sleep in until about 10am, Ry leaves back to the house, and I take care of my sick baby. After a dose on Children's Motrin, she naps for about 5 hours and wakes up feeling much better.
So later, I discover we are out of baby food and we need to make a Walmart run. Seeing as how Alenna is doing so much better, I dare to take her out. I gather all the baby food jars I will need for the next week and put them in the cart and leave the baby isle. I turn my back just for a second, to get baby formula, and I hear a huge CRASH! I look over and Alenna is throwing out the baby jars of the cart and watching as they break on the tile floor.
CRAP!
(I had put them in a place in the cart she couldn't reach, or so I thought). Everyone is looking at me. At this point I am a loose cannon and bite my tongue from saying anything to these rude observers. I track down someone to help me, and of course they are no where close.
Grrr.
We race home just in time for my V.T.'s to show up, I totally forgot they were coming over. I wrestle with 2 fussy babies while trying to act interested in what they were saying. I think they took the hint, and they left soon. I felt really bad about that, but, it had been the week from Hell and I was just so exhausted.

Gezz I'm glad everything is over. Now just relax and take it easy. Its a critical time in your pregnancy now! Hopefully no one else gets sick.
wow, that was crazyness just reading it! i'm sorry you went through all that! i'm glad that week is over and you can start a new one!
Oh I know! I told Ryan if this baby survives everything I have been putting him/her through it will be nothing short of a miracle!
OMG I am so so so sorry~ What a horrible week you have had! If you need anything let me know and I am totally there to help! I am amazed with how crafty you guys are and so great at everything!!! Luckily the house looks great.
Haha, well I don't know how 'crafty' we are, but I'll take the compliment!;) Thanks!
LOL, that's what it sounds like around her everyday! Sorry I'm laughing and I'm sorry your having to endure such torchure, but I can only assure you that things will only become more chaotic with a third. *I say this from experience because Roger doesn't take care of himself by any means* Just think of it this way, Heavenly Father is preparing you now to handle more! Good luck!
haha, yeah I guess I need to get used to chaos now and not sweat the little stupid things. Its so hard, lol.
Holy cow, what a week you guys had! The new room turned out great. Are you feeling more relaxed hopefully?
Haha, yes. Its just one of those things where I had to remind myslef, 'Just keep breathing...' too busy to even stop and take a breath!!
